If you’re thinking of having a custom software system built, here’s an overview of how we go about it at East Software.
- Call us and say Hello. Give us a brief introduction to your business, and tell us what you have in mind. Based on that we’ll work up one or two high–level designs for your new software system and get back to you a few days later.
- Next we’ll visit you at your premises to get better acquainted with you and to present our initial designs. During this meeting we’ll try to learn more about your business and understand your requirements in more detail.
- Together we’ll tweak and update the plan to make sure it captures your business requirements and fits your budget. We can do much of this over the phone or by email, but we’re always happy to visit you at your premises or in a coffee shop if that seems more useful.
- When you’re happy with the plan and the proposed cost we’ll prepare a more formal proposal, including a firm fixed–price quotation. Then as soon as you approve it we can start building your new software system.
